How
Does it Work?
This programme is an ideal way of introducing accountants to the real benefits of sound frameworks on which to build effective practice management strategies. We are encouraging partners to:
- identifying the practice’s strengths, areas for development, opportunities and threats
- reviewing current practice priorities (long and short term objectives)
- identifying key aims and objectives
- producing (or revisiting) a business plan, introducing target setting and action planning
- analysing training and development needs through the introduction of appraisal/developmental review processes
- developing a training plan to support the identified needs of the individual, teams and practice as a whole, linking objectives back to the business plan
- developing strategies to cope with change management
- developing personal and management skills including managing teams, communications, time management, appraisal skills and action planning
- identifying resources available to support practice training
