Jean
is the founder of Moffat McEwan, formed 10 years ago by a team of consultants
specialising in continuous improvement within the professional, health and legal
sectors.
Jean is a management consultant, specialising in professional, management and
personal development for solicitors, doctors, stockbrokers, accountants, surveyors and architects.
Her areas of expertise include business and strategic planning, organisational
development, designing and implementing appraisal procedures, performance management,
change management and the implementation of structures to support effective
practice management.
Jeans expertise in personal and management skills includes time management,
stress management, appraisal skills, internal communications, influencing and
leadership skills and managing teams.
As an Investors in People adviser for over 7 years, Jean advises professional
firms and medical practices on practice improvement models in order to help
them achieve the national standards. Within the legal sector, Jean is a national
Lexcel consultant and prepares firms for certification against the standard.
She is also an approved national provider for continuous professional development
for the Law Society.
Jean is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, a Fellow of the Institute of Leadership and Management, a Member of the Chartered Management Institute and an approved consultant with the British Accreditation Bureau. Jean is also the Director of Organisational Development for Redmayne Bentley Stockbrokers, one of the UK’s largest independent stockbrokers based in Leeds with over 30 franchises.
With a degree in education and a diploma in management, she has over 25 years
experience within the field of professional management development and strategic
planning. From 1980 to 1997, her work within the education sector included the
design, delivery and management of a wide range of continuous improvement models for the professional sectors.
